There is a huge difference between reading a book, and listening to the same book on CD. They are totally different experiences, and I've read/listened to several books that I love one way but hate the other. Anyway. That being said, I listened to "Let's Pretend This Never Happened", and though at first I had my doubts, I did totally enjoy it. Jenny narrates the book herself (Jenny being the author, I now call her Jenny because after listening to the book, you do quite feel like you know her). Many books like this one use professional narrators, and I often find something lacking there - the reader enunciates too clearly and is too slick and since it's not their material, it feels like they're not delivering it quite right. Jenny, however, delivers this book perfectly. It's funny in places and amusing in others and overall, I found it a good way to spend my commute.
